As part of its completed business overhaul, gem-fashion has updated its privacy policy. This forms part of the internal review of all aspects of their business which affect the overall customer experience.

Following in the wake of the implementation of an extended customer guarantee and a simplified returns procedure, the new privacy policy is aimed at assuring potential customers of the integrity of gem-fashion. A gem-fashion spokesman was keen to point out that although the new policy does contain two exceptional conditions in which the information that is supplied to them by a website visitor may be divulged, that both of these situations would only arise through the process of a legal case being pursued by an official government body, or during the investigation of a possibly fraudulent credit card transaction. Under no circumstances would the company divulge the personal information of its clients for no lesser reason, neither would it be used in any form other than the reason it was supplied.

The company has made immense changes over recent months to try and supply their customers with the most secure and streamlined on-line shopping experience possible. The introduction of their new web-based Customer Management System has recently been the catalyst for a whole host of changes to the way in which they do business.
